Bachelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education offers Certificates 1 and 2 in Indigenous Language and Knowledge Work. This course helps students to improve their knowledge of their own languages and gain skills to do language work in language centres, schools and other community organisations.
The South Australian Museum holds many collections in its archives, including the Norman Tindale collection containing numerous language card files. The catalogues of museum collections can be accessed online.
The Protocols are intended to guide libraries, archives and information services in appropriate ways to interact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the communities which the organisations serve, and to handle materials with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content.
